You are welcome to spend time with our farm family as they are an integral part of your farmstay experience. Feeding and interacting with the farm animals can be a very relaxing and a very memorable experience. Our herd are very friendly but, like most animals, can be unpredictable at times, especially around food. We require all participants of the feed tour to listen to the rules provided by a staff member at the start of and during every tour. All children must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times, especially during the animal feed.

No, we provide the feed for the animals as they are on very specific diets. It is important to us that they are receiving the correct nutrients and feed.

We understand the desire to start your holiday early, or make it last that little bit longer. But as a small, family run farm, we need the time to prepare cottages for the next guests. We ask that all guests arrive no earlier than 2pm when check-in opens, and vacate the rooms no later than 10am on the day of check-out. Once checked out of your cottage, you are free to continue enjoying the grounds. Failure to check-out on time may result in additional charges.

We do not have room or facilities for camping and caravans. All guests must be staying in our cottages.Β

You are welcome to bring visitors on site for the day when staying in your cottage. However, animal feeding tours are reserved for staying guests only.

If your visitor wishes to stay the night, please advise us immediately, as charges do apply. Failure to do so may result in additional charges and this is strictly subject to guest limits per cottage.

Dogs are only permitted when booking Hibiscus House, as it is the dedicated pet friendly accommodation we have.

The other cottages and suites do not have suitable enclosures for dogs so we cannot accommodate any guest pets for guests staying in Bottlebrush, Wattle, Banksia or Bluegum. This is for the safety of guests, the farm animals and native animals that roam freely around the main property.

Clandulla Cottages is approximately 60 minutes from both Brisbane International/Domestic, as well as the Gold Coast International/Domestic Airports.

We are a β€œno-party” property as we provide a peaceful farmstay retreat. Please advise at the time of booking if you have a special occasion you are celebrating. We request no loud noises after 9pm in consideration of other guests and neighbours.
