Our family had the BEST time at Clandulla Cottages. Our accommodation was beautiful, comfortable and had literally everything we could have possibly needed. We loved spending time on in the outdoor kitchen cooking together and playing pool. Our kids (12 and 1) LOVED the animal feeding and farm tours with farmer Matt and couldn’t wait to get back out to see all their favourites every day. We had such a wonderful time and we can’t wait to visit again. Thank you Matt and Nambok for being such incredible hosts!

What an amazing experience! The accommodation exceeded expectations and it's so close to home. The daily farm tours were the main event for my children, who would count down the hours and minutes until it was time to meet Farmer Matt to go and spend time with our new farm friends. Leaving was the worst part, so we're already planning to come back (hide Honey!)

Where has this gem been all my years in Brisbane? I reckon these guys don’t need any advertising and it just took a while for the word of mouth to get to me! It’s a total balm for the soul for all ages in the Scenic Rim. Stunning 360 views, changing throughout the day. Tranquility. All the animals you could want plus feeding walks with farmer Matt where you get plenty of wholesome animal interaction. No crowds. No queues to hold a baby chick. The animals are so loved they are in turn very zen around all the guests, big and small. Child-friendly touches everywhere - these guys could actually give lessons to (and/or host as paying guests) most of the hospitality industry on how to accommodate especially the littlest ages 🫢🏻 Breakfasts of just-collected farm eggs. Full kitchen, BBQ and of course the fire pit (should have just brought open-fire cooking provisions). I needn’t have worried about freezing at night, at the cosy cottages. Water pump kept me up the first night, but then I was fine. Tons to do in the area (animals, vineyards, waterfalls, classic pubs..), I'd say 2 nights is too little, we will absolutely be back (with friends) for 3+. And next time I won’t even plan driving around the area, just bring a friend for my little one and a book for me, pop to the pretty but slightly carnagey O’Reilly’s for some local wine and while away the days on the farm, country walks or sit on a garden swing reading a book / sipping wine in the afternoon. If I had a wish is maybe a little fridge with local food produce directly on the farm guests can buy from, or at least a list of specific highlights e.g. the local red claw, butcher, best sourdough (although driving to Towri Sheep Farm was scenic, but generally finding local produce and opening hours is very scattered with little information online). And fire-cooking utensils. And over time invest in a button-press gate. But that would have made the stay a 6-star one lol PS: my 4yo was still citing names of Herbie the cow, Nakota.. and recounting all his adventures and learnings in the car this morning!

We have had two great stays at Clandulla. Our first visit last year was as a family of 4, and we enjoyed it so much that we brought the grandparents, aunts/uncles and cousins this year. The adjoining rooms in the Wattle-Banksia-Bluegum accommodation were super handy for keeping a large group together comfortably. The accommodation is incredibly well-equipped, and the kids absolutely loved the farm tours and activities. Highly recommend for groups looking for a relaxing, hands-on farm experience!

Wonderful farmstay experience an hour drive from Brisbane. Cottage is cozy and clean with lots of games to keep children occupied and they have full cooking facilities. Our kids love the animal feeding session which runs twice a day in the morning and evening where Farmer Matt will bring us around the entire farm and children will get the opportunity to feed all the friendly and adorable animals. It is truly an experience for city kids to get close to all the animals. And the feeding session will end with children going to the hen house to collect fresh eggs to cook for breakfast! The nearest town is Mount Tamborine which is around 20 minutes drive. Our kids love Thunderbird Park and Glow Worm Caves. Highly recommended for people living in the city to get a weekend out with the family.

Our family of 5 stayed in the Banksia Suite for 3 nights in July 2026, and had the most amazing time. Location is great, being only 15 minutes from Beaudesert, but the best part of the stay was the animals - you could play with the chickens and pygmy goats all day long, and Farmer Matt led the twice-daily farm tour where we fed and interacted with all their gorgeous animals (including hugging their bulls). It was an incredible experience for us and especially our children, and we look forward to doing it again.

We hadn’t even left the driveway and our kids were asking when we can come back! What an incredible place to make some truly beautiful core memories. Farmer Matt was a wonderful host! He knew all the kids names and was so patient with them all. The animals, the twice daily farm tours and firepit are amazing. We stayed at the Hibiscus House and it was perfect with everything we needed. We cannot wait to come back! What an exceptional place you’ve created at Clandulla.
