What’s new at Clandulla Cottages in March 2026?
Life at Clandulla rarely stands still, and this past month has been no exception.
In the last couple of weeks, we had one of those moments where we actually stopped, looked around the farm, and realised just how far Clandulla has come. Between welcoming hundreds of families, watching kids fall in love with our farm animals for the first time, receiving the Queensland Tourism Award for Best Hosted Accommodation that honestly left us a little speechless, and replacing metres and metres of fencing, it felt like a big exhale. A quiet reminder that this farm dream is growing into something really special.
But if you know us, you’ll know we don’t sit still for long.
This year marks a new chapter not just for the farm, but for us personally too. With Farmer Bok now officially on board full-time (apparently one farmer wasn’t enough), we’ve been dreaming up new ways to make Clandulla even more hands-on, more creative, and more connected to the seasons. The question we keep coming back to: how can we bring a little more of Clandulla to more of you?
A few of our cottages have also had some thoughtful improvements. Bottlebrush Cottage now has a brand-new kitchen and bathroom, making it more accessible for guests with mobility needs. We’ve always been proudly family-friendly and now we’re even more inclusive for everyone who wants to experience farm life with us.
Which animals are at Clandulla right now?
Every month there’s at least one animal who steals the spotlight. Lately, it’s been the unlikely friendship between Tofu the pig and Yuki the little Belgian D’Uccle rooster.
Their bond has made it into the Courier Mail and onto television, which still makes us laugh a little when we think about it. Watching them together is a daily reminder that kindness goes a long way β even on a farm. Completely unbothered by the chaos of farm life around them, just doing their thing.
What’s on in the Scenic Rim this season?
Beyond the farm gates, there’s always something happening in the Scenic Rim. As the seasons start to shift, we’re feeling that gentle change on the farm too β cooler mornings, cotton candy skies at sunset, and the kind of weather that makes outdoor exploring even more special.
We’re also busy planning a few upcoming experiences: kids’ hands-on farm activities, creative workshops, and future farmgate produce ideas. Keep an eye out as these little farm dreams start to take shape.
