By booking any accommodation, activities or services at Clandulla Cottages you agree to these terms and conditions. In the event that you book through a third-party platform such as (but not restricted to) Booking.com, Expedia and Agoda, the terms and conditions of that platform also apply to your booking; however, these terms and conditions rank in priority.

These terms and conditions apply to the person booking the accommodation or services with Clandulla Cottages, along with any children, guests, or other persons present on the Clandulla Cottages property.

Responsibility

The person booking the accommodation or services with Clandulla Cottages is responsible for any financial matters, such as damage to property, and also for the behaviour and conduct of any parties present at Clandulla Cottages on account of that person’s booking.

Clandulla Cottages is a working farm, with live animals, machinery, native wildlife and other risks. Staying at, or attending the property is entirely at your risk and the risk of the attendees. Please be alert to your surroundings at all times. We require that all animals at Clandulla Cottages are treated with care and respect. Children must be supervised at all times.

You must comply with the directions of our management in relation to all matters.

Should you, your children or your guests act in any way that Clandulla Cottages determines is inappropriate, dangerous or otherwise unacceptable, you and your group will be required to leave the property. In these circumstances, no refund or credit will be issued in respect of unused accommodation or services.

Guests must be considerate with noise levels and be respectful of other guests, as the cottages and suites are close to each other and in some circumstances interconnecting.

Damages

Clandulla Cottages requires the holding of credit card details as security for damage, excess cleaning costs and extra charges incurred in relation to your visit. Additional charges may be charged to the credit card if there is any additional cleaning required or damage to the property.

In the event that damage is caused to the property by you, your children or guests, you will be liable for such damage and all costs associated with such damage shall be deducted from your credit card. You agree to these charges of such amounts, and these will be deducted from your credit card as part of your booking.

Smoking

No smoking is permitted in or around the Clandulla Cottages buildings, decks or common areas. Those smoking in those areas will be asked to leave the property. In the event of smoking taking place in or around the buildings, you will be charged an additional cleaning fee of $500.

BYO Accommodation

No caravans, tents, campers or other portable accommodations are permitted on the property.

Car Parking

Car parking is available on site for guests. Clandulla Cottages is not liable for any loss or damage to a vehicle nor to any property or effects of any persons using the car park, nor for any personal injury suffered. If you have an electric vehicle that requires charging, please note this may incur an additional cost.

Pets

Pets are not permitted on the property.

Bonfire

Bonfires are permitted only in the designated area if the conditions and weather are permitting. At the sole discretion of management, the fire must be started by management, kept small and manageable. In a total fire ban, no fire will be allowed.

Children MUST be supervised by an adult or parent at all times around the bonfire.

The safety of children and guests around the fire is your responsibility, and Clandulla Cottages holds no liability for any injury or damage from the bonfire.

Travel Insurance

We highly recommend you take our comprehensive travel insurance at the time of your booking. We suggest that the policy should include, but not be limited to, the reimbursement of any monies paid in the event that travel is cancelled; loss or damage to personal baggage, loss of money and medical expenses.

Liability

By booking your accommodation or services with Clandulla Cottages you, your children and your guests acknowledge that there are risks associated with attending the property and you agree that attending the property is at the risk of each person attending the property. You, on behalf of yourself, your children, your guests, personal representatives and any other heirs, irrevocably agree to release, waive, discharge, hold harmless, defend, and indemnify Clandulla Cottages and all its staff from any and all claims, actions or losses as a result of bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services or otherwise which may arise out of participation in all activities while at the property.

Accommodation

We are a very small operation run primarily by a husband and wife team, and to be respectful of their time and the work put into making sure all the accommodation is hygienically cleaned for all guest please take note of the check in and check out times.

The property is let to you for the period stated in your booking confirmation. You agree to not sublet or assign the property or any part of it. Your booking is non-transferable. Extensions of stay are subject to availability and approval by Clandulla Cottages.

Payment of 50% of the accommodation fees is required at the time of booking in order to secure your accommodation booking. Reservations are subject to availability and actual pricing at the time of booking.

Accommodation fees are paid by credit card through our website or affiliated booking platform.

All amounts are expressed and processed in Australian dollars, inclusive of GST.

Clandulla Cottages has the right to enter and inspect any accommodation and buildings during your stay, subject to reasonable prior notice being given, unless Clandulla Cottages has reasonable grounds to believe that the buildings are being damaged, at risk, or if there are any breaches of these terms and conditions.

The accommodation is strictly for the number of persons / children as booked. Additional guests will be charged accordingly. The maximum occupancy of your accommodation must not be exceeded.

The accommodation is let to you for holiday letting purposes only, for the period stated in your letter of confirmation. No commercial activities of any kind are permitted, unless prior arrangements have been made. Such permission is at the sole discretion of Clandulla Cottages and if approved, a surcharge will apply.

Children are welcome at the property; parents are solely responsible for the supervision, care and actions of their children whilst at Clandulla Cottages. Clandulla Cottages accepts no liability for the actions of children whilst on the property.

We expect and encourage an appropriate level of care to be used during your stay. On departure, the accommodation must be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Please remove any residual food from the fridge and pantry that you supplied during your stay. Any extra cleaning required will result in a $100 per hour additional charge.

In the case of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to allocate a different cottage or suite if deemed necessary.

Privacy

Clandulla Cottages collects personal information from our customers and suppliers. This may include when you communicate with us, when you meet with us, when you purchase or pay for our products or services, when you visit our premises or when you supply goods and services to us.

We will not usually disclose your personal information to others. You do not have to provide us with your personal information. However, if you do not, we may not be able to conduct business with you.

By using any of our products or services, visiting any of our websites or giving us your personal information, you agree to your information being collected, stored, used and disclosed as set out in this Privacy Policy.

Clandulla Cottages acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, and recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community. We pay respect to Elders past and present.
