Clandulla Farm Photoshoots Terms and Conditions
By booking a photography session with Clandulla Farm Photoshoots, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and professional experience for all guests and staff. Please read carefully before proceeding with your booking.
1. Session Location & Access
β’ All photography sessions are held at Clandulla Cottages & Farmstay, 312 Boyland Road, Boyland QLD 4275.
β’ By booking a photoshoot, you acknowledge that access is limited to designated photography areas only.
β’ This booking does not include access to accommodation, guest facilities, farm tours, or other restricted areas of the property. These are reserved exclusively for overnight guests.
β’ Clients must follow all directions given by Clandulla staff and photographers at all times while on the property.
2. Session Inclusions
Your session fee covers:
β’ A private photography session of either 30 or 60 minutes (depending on your chosen package).
β’ Use of selected farm animals as available and suitable on the day.
β’ The specified number of edited high-resolution digital images, as outlined in your chosen package.
β’ Delivery of your digital gallery via secure online download.
3. Payments, Cancellations & Rescheduling
β’ All session fees include GST and must be paid in full at the time of booking to secure your session.
β’ Session fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.
β’ All session fees are non-refundable except where required by the Australian Consumer Law. In the unlikely event that Clandulla Farm Photoshoots is unable to deliver your session due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a reschedule or refund in accordance with your rights under the AC
β’ One complimentary date reschedule is permitted with a minimum of 7 daysβ notice.
β’ In cases of illness, emergency, or severe weather, we will do our best to offer an alternative date.
4. Weather & Animal Availability
β’ Clandulla Farm Photoshoots operates on a working farm with live animals and open-air conditions.
β’ Sessions may be rescheduled in the event of heavy rain, extreme heat, or unsafe conditions.
β’ Animal participation cannot be guaranteed. While every effort is made to include our friendly pygmy goats (Jemima, Chief, and Spud), pony Abbott, and chickens, their involvement depends on their temperament, health, and the conditions on the day.
β’ By booking, you acknowledge that animals are unpredictable and may not behave as desired during your session. No refunds or discounts apply if an animal is unavailable or uncooperative.
5. Health, Safety & Conduct
β’ Clandulla Cottages & Farmstay is a working farm environment. While all reasonable steps are taken to ensure your safety, there are inherent risks associated with interacting with animals and being outdoors.
β’ By attending your session, you and all participants acknowledge and accept these risks.
β’ You agree to follow all safety instructions provided by staff.
β’ Clandulla Cottages & Farmstay, its owners, and staff will not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from:
- Failure to follow directions.
- Disobedience, lack of supervision, or unsafe behaviour.
- Accidental contact with animals, equipment, or natural surroundings.
- No smoking, alcohol, or disruptive behaviour is permitted during sessions.
6. Punctuality
β’ Please arrive 10β15 minutes before your scheduled session to allow time for check-in and preparation.
β’ Late arrivals may result in reduced session time.
β’ If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, your session may be cancelled and your session fee forfeited.
7. Image Rights & Usage
β’ All images captured by Clandulla Farm Photoshoots remain the intellectual property of the photographer and are protected under the Copyright Act 1968.
β’ By booking, you grant Clandulla Farm Photoshoots the right to use selected images for marketing, website, and social media purposes, unless you advise otherwise in writing before your session.
β’ Clients receive a personal-use license with their purchased images, which allows printing, sharing, and personal display.
β’ Images may not be sold, altered, or used commercially without written permission.
8. Liability Waiver
By participating in a Clandulla Farm Photoshoots session, you acknowledge and agree that:
β’ You are entering a rural environment with inherent risks such as uneven ground, weather conditions, and animal unpredictability.
β’ You voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may occur during your visit.
β’ You release and indemnify Clandulla Cottages & Farmstay, its owners, staff, and photographers from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from participation in the session.
9. Agreement Confirmation
By proceeding with your booking and payment, you confirm that you:
β’ Have read and understood all Terms and Conditions above.
β’ Accept all risks associated with participating in a farm-based photography session.
β’ Agree to comply with staff directions and safety measures at all times.
