Farm Activities

Nowadays, Clandulla is run by the animals and looked after by the owners.

At Clandulla we have lovely and friendly farm animals
that are fed daily in the morning (8am) and evening (5pm).
You are invited to help us take care of them!

Start the day by giving some yummy grains to our beautiful Peacocks and wild birds (Cockatoos, Galahs, Lorikeets etc). We also have an Aviary full of Indian Ringneck Parakeets (and Butchie, our Cockatiel) as well as a Chicken Coop from which you can collect some fresh eggs to eat with your breakfast.

Then, we move on to our flock of Sheep, followed by Bella the Pig, Abbott and Nakota, our beautiful Horses – always on the lookout for a friendly hand full of Carrots – and finally Choko and Dori, our mischievous Cows. Every year our ewes give birth to the cutest and most beautiful little lambs.

They will all eat out of your hand if you choose, giving your family a close encounter with farm animals and a great experience as well as the wonderful photos to remember your stay.

During the day, you can say hi and pat our beloved Blue Flyer (female Red) Kangaroo, Joe. Rescued when she was a baby, she has come to call Clandulla home. Marvel at our pride of peacocks as they wander about the yards doing their own thing, scratching at the ground for bugs and taking care of their peachicks. Take some amazing photos of our males as they fan their tail feathers and show their bright fluorescent colours to impress the girls.

There are few other day farms that you can visit while staying at Clandulla Cottages & Farmstay:
